Context
Design Hero is a semester-long investigation into the work, philosophy, and creative process of an influential designer, culminating in a series of visual responses that reinterpret their ideas through the student's own perspective. For this project, I selected Oki Sato, founder of NENDO, and conducted extensive research into his approach to playfulness, modularity, and everyday observation. Through analysis, writing, sketching, and iterative making, I translated these principles into a typographic poster series, booklet, motion video, etc. that explores how small moments and simple forms can grow into larger systems.
